Who are we?
Arty Monkeys, an art school in Bristol, offers a variety of classes. These include children’s holiday art classes, GCSE art classes, after-school club classes, and workshops for schools.
Comprising qualified teachers, we recognize that art is often overlooked in the curriculum. Consequently, we provide assistance for all abilities, aiming to nurture a love for art while imparting essential techniques. Our sessions seamlessly transition from one to another, progressively focusing on technique and culminating in an art piece.
Our teachers boast art backgrounds and undergo DBS checks, all while passionately striving to broaden children’s artistic horizons. Our ultimate goal is to unearth the artist within every child.
What is included in our After School Club
We offer after-school Bristol Art Classes typically running from 3-5. These classes can be booked termly and delve into various media throughout the year.
Our primary media include paint, pencil, and clay, mirroring a comprehensive study of the subject. Our approach begins with technique work, proceeds to artist research, involves planning the final design, and concludes with creation. Instilling this process in children at an early age is of paramount importance to us.
How it works for students
Booking your child into our classes is a simple process. Send us a message via our “book us now” page, including the child’s school and age group.
